Hasbro roll over dog January 6, 2009 L. Ogram (Fort Wayne IN) This dog is fun because it sporadically whines and makes noises when you don't expect it. I wouldn't say the roll over feature is as good as advertised, it just flops over on its side and curls up. The fur is soft and the coloring is realistic, but there is no padding, so you can feel the mechanism under the thin material "skin" It is cute and fun but I don't know how durable it is. The flap on the belly where the batteries go is hard to find.
Remember who it's for January 5, 2009 Lisa Hurst It's very mechanical. It whirs and clicks and is generally noisy. It's got a hard core that makes it less-than-cuddly. It never really rolls over. But my daughter (age 4) LOVE-LOVE-LOVES it. She's constantly holding it, snuggling with it, carrying it everywhere, and has even started putting clothes on it -- all things she'd like to do with our two real dogs, except that they scatter when they see her coming. Should you buy one for an adult? Probably not. But this was my daughter's favorite Christmas gift, and on her behalf I give it a resounding endorsement as a great gift for any child who loves animals (alive or stuffed), and has always wanted to be loved back.
So Cute! December 27, 2008 Rachael Thomas 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This was a Christmas gift for my 3 year old son. He likes it a lot, but his 12 month old baby sister absolutely adores it. She loves to pet it and watch it roll over. She likes that it reacts to her when she touches it. I think the little animations and noises it does are absolutely adorable, especially when it's "sleeping." A really neat little toy.
Fur Real Puppy December 27, 2008 Brigitte O'Brien (Lombard, IL) My granddaughter loves her new puppy. It is a bit noisy, but that doesn't take away from the fun she has with it. The only difficulty is keeping the real puppies away from it!
A wonderful toy! December 25, 2008 M. Valletta My 3 year old daughter just received this puppy as a Christmas gift and she adores it! It goes everywhere with her, and despite what other reviewers might say, it's actually quite easy to cuddle with. We all love this dog, and I would recommend it to anyone. It's a great toy!
